The Sopaipilla

Hello everyone, today the topic is Food, then I would like to talk about my favourite



food is the “sopaipilla”.

The sopaipilla is very simple to preparete, consist in a mass  a base of weht flour,salt,water,butter and in some cases is made with pumpkin, and this mass is fried in oil or butter. And how not to add some dressing to our fried dough, these can be mustard, mayo and other types of mayo, ketchup,sauerkraut,avocado, chili,onions and others.

Sincerally, I don’t know the precedence of the sopaipilla,but I investigate over the topic and incredibly this food is born in Middle East, with the name is “sopaipa”. And the Spanish at the time in the conquest they introduced the “sopaipilla” in the Araucania, with the name of “sopaipillan”, in honor a bird. The name “sopaipilla is a diminutive from the name “sopaipa”.

This food is very versatile, because is very easy to prepare the sopaipilla, the ingredients are cheap, and this food can be found in the streets with much frecuency in sales positions that are often personal mobile cart.Sincerally I dont know the sopaipilla is sold in restaurants. In addition, the sopaipilla is cheap, the price are about in $150 pesos or $300 pesos.($300 pesos for a sopaipilla is a abuse)

Finally,I really love the sopaipilla, but I don’t eat a sopaipilla for a long time, exactly 1 week ejejejej.
